Cooking Guidelines | Oven cook Instructions: All appliances vary, these instructions are a guideline only. Ensure the product is thoroughly cooked, juices run clear and no pink colour remains. Do not wash poultry prior to cooking. For best results oven cook from defrost. Ensure thoroughly defrosted prior to cooking. Remove all packaging, remove the giblets and place the duck in the bottom of a refrigerator for approx. 24 hours. 1. Preheat the oven to 200°c / 180°c Fan / Gas Mark 6 2. Remove all packaging and place the duck on to a wire rack over a roasting tray. 3. Cook on the middle shelf of the oven for 55-60 minutes or until fully cooked and the juices run clear. 4. Allow the duck to rest for 5 minutes before carving. |
